Ruby Virginia Wright

Ruby Virginia Wright, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and cherished member of the Wynne community, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2026, in her hometown of Wynne, Arkansas. She was born on February 15, 1949, also in Wynne, where she made her home.

She is survived by her sons Tommy Wright, Joe Wright, and Larry Wright. Ruby’s legacy lives on in her grandchildren: Jodi Wright, Brittany Wright, Jasmine Wright, Aiden Wright, and Sophia Wright, as well as her great-grandchild Kinsley Lane. She is also lovingly remembered by her brother James Westmoreland and his wife, Sondra, of Bald Knob, Arkansas.

Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Louis Wright, and her dear son Bobby Wright. 

Family and friends will gather for a graveside service honoring Ruby Virginia Wright’s life on Monday, August 10, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Forrest Park Cemetery, located on South Washington Street in Forrest City, Arkansas. All who knew Ruby are invited to attend and pay their respects, celebrating the life of a woman whose gentle heart and steadfast faith made a lasting impact on those around her.

Ruby’s memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved her, and her enduring legacy of kindness, faith, and dedication to family will remain a guiding light for generations to come.
