Ms. Sharon Yvonne Barnes Roberts, age 65, died suddenly and unexpectedly Sunday, May 12, 2019 at Methodist Germantown in Germantown, TN.  Born August 11, 1953, she was the daughter of Thomas Swatzell and Arlie Joyce Shelton Swatzell, Sharon was a member of the Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church.  She was a retired truck driver and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father and her husband Jonah Roberts.

Survivors include her mother, Arlie Joyce Swatzell of Tennessee; one son, Johnny Barnes of Marion, Arkansas; one daughter Angela Barnes Paine of Forrest City, Arkansas; two brothers, Randall Swatzell and Willie Swatzell, both of Tennessee; eight grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.

Memorial services are scheduled for Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at 10:00AM at Morgan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lapoleon Grace officiating.
