Mrs. Shelia D. Smith, age 62, of Lexa, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday February 25, 2025, at her home in Lexa, Arkansas. Born November 29, 1962, in Helena, Arkansas, she was the daughter of Robert Nearns and Pauline Camp Nearns.

Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Robert Nearns, and one sister Rhonda Alexander.

Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband Stanford Smith of the home; one daughter Krystal Manues of Roger, Arkansas two Sons James Smith Jr. (Brittany) of Lexa, Arkansas, and Jason Smith of Lexa, Arkansas; two brothers Ronnie Nearns of Missouri, and Jerry Nearns (Phylis) of Brinkley, Arkansas. Six grandchildren Nakoa Manues, Matthew Manues, Lacie Murphree, Briyghten Murphree, Shaydynne Smith, and Brentley Bowden.

Funeral Service for Mrs. Smith will be on Friday February 28, 2025, at Morgan Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 am with a visitation one hour prior to service. Bro. Tim Gabbard will be officiating. The burial will be at Central Cemetery in Lexa, Arkansas.
