Ms. Shirley Ann Matlock Greenwood, age 64 of Forrest City, died Saturday, January 19, 2013 at River Ridge Rehab in Wynne, Arkansas.

Ms. Greenwood was born July 10, 1948 the daughter of Herbert Eugene Matlock and Geneva Horton Matlock. She lived in the Forrest City area her entire life, was a Baptist and a member of the Village Creek Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her son, Gary Glenn Taylor in 1971 and her sister, Karon Paulette Rook in 2007.

Ms. Greenwood is survived by her mother of Forrest City, Arkansas, two sons; Larry Wayne Taylor of Paragould, Arkansas and Terry Lynn Taylor of Wynne, Arkansas, three brothers; Bobby Matlock of Conway, Arkansas, Randy Matlock of Wynne, Arkansas, and Ronald Matlock of Forrest City, Arkansas, one sister; Betty Sue Nichols of Colt, Arkansas and one grandchild, Chase Taylor.

Visitation with the family will be held on Sunday, January 20, 2013 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the chapel of Morgan Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, January 21, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Home with Bro. Glenn Hoselton officiating, assisted by Bro. Wayne Riggs. Burial will follow at Loughridge Cemetery in Colt, Arkansas.
