Vada Miller Jones Thompson's Obituary
Vada Miller Jones Thompson, passed away at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Clayton and Carole Avera on October 7, 2013.
Vada was born in St. Francis County, Arkansas on November 23, 1922 to Frank and Belle Lantrip Miller.
She grew up in the Newcastle Community and spent her entire life in St. Francis County.
In 1944 she married Doug Jones and moved to Palestine and lived there until her death.
She is survived by one daughter, Carole Huff Avera and husband Clayton of Palestine; one granddaughter, Kelly Huff Wright of Little Rock; one great-grandson, Dillon Huff Wright and wife Brittney of Moro.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1985; three brothers, Harold Miller of Mississippi, Pete Miller and Buck Miller, both of Forrest City; and one sister, Marie Miller Adamson also of Forrest City.
Graveside services are scheduled for Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at
2:00 P.M. at Salem Cemetery in Moro.
