Mr. Vernon Leon Anderson, age 60, of Forrest City died February 2, 2022 after a long illness. Born January 27, 1962, he was the son of R.T. Anderson and Oneida Callaway Anderson. He was a mechanic and a Baptist. He was a member of Beck Spur Baptist Church.

Mr. Anderson was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Lana Anderson of the home; one daughter Ashley May of Palestine, Arkansas; three brothers: James Anderson and wife Belinda of Forrest City, Leroy Anderson of Truman, Jerry Anderson and wife Charlotte of Forrest City; seven sisters: Dot Gore of Forrest City, Margaret Busby of Forrest City, Della Mae Hurd of Forrest City, Kay Ennis of Forrest City, Helen Marrs and husband Dan of West Memphis, Peggy Weisle and husband Clarence of Wheatley, AR and Sheila Woods and husband Robbie of Heber Springs, AR; one granddaughter Kori May.

Visitation with the family will be Sunday, February 6, 2022 at Beck Spur Baptist Church from 1:00 - 2:00pm. Services will follow the visitation beginning at 2:00pm with Bro. James Fryer officiating, assisted by Bro. Justin Murphy.

Pallbearers will be Travis Anderson, Dillon Anderson, Robert Beltran, Timmy Kimble, Jonathan Weddington, Mike Mathes and Justin Anderson.

Burial will be private.
