Mrs. Virginia Story, age 88, died Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at her home in Floral, Arkansas after a long illness. Born August 5, 1929, she was the daughter of George Neely and Maple Neely. Mrs. Story worked as a truck driver prior to retirement.

Mrs. Story was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Burton Story in 1997, one son William Phillip Powell, two daughters Billie Jean Rainbolt, Sandra Kay Gregory and one granddaughter Tracy Guthrie.

She is survived by ten grandchildren: William Harvey Powell, Harvey Eugene Powell, Byron Phillip Powell, Jennifer Powell, Howard Powell, Tim Nelms, Jason Stidham, Carolyn Morris, Yvette Howard, and Robert Guthrey, several great grandchildren and many great-great grandchildren.

Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Bell Cemetery in Palestine, Arkansas. Visitation will be Friday afternoon, December 29, 2017 from 4:00 - 6:00PM at Morgan Chapel - Morgan Funeral Home in Forrest City, Arkansas.
