Mr. Wesley Moore, Jr., age 78, died at his home in Forrest City, Friday, August 12, 2016, after a long illness. Born January 20, 1938, he was the son of Charlie Moore and Leatie Mae Stone Moore. He was retired from the US Navy, worked as an electrician and in real estate. He was a Baptist.

He was preceded in death by one daughter Barbara Ann Clemons in 2013, and by two brothers Travis and Ray Moore.

Survivors include his wife, Joanna Gail, of the home; two sons William James and wife Diana Moore of Charlotte, N.C. and William Travis Moore of Riverside, California; four brothers James and wife Becky Moore of Forrest City, Wayne and wife Ann Moore of Osceola, AR, Steve Moore of Oklahoma and Edgar and wife Becky Moore of Forrest City; two sisters Emma Jo Worley of Forrest City and Linda Coleman of Palestine; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services for Mr. Moore will be Wednesday, August 17, 2016, at 2:00 PM Graveside at Barnishaw Cemetery near Pine Tree. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, August 16, from noon till 2:00 PM at Morgan Chapel.
