Mrs. Wilma C. Powell, age 69, died February 15, 2021 at St. Bernard's Hospital in Jonesboro after a long illness. Born January 3, 1952, she was the daughter of Lonnie Tatum and Francis Hadley Tatum. She worked for Forrest City Grocery Store and as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She was a Baptist.

Mrs. Powell is survived by her husband Bobby Powell of the home; one son Leon Whitehead of Forrest City; two step-sons: Franklin Powell of Colt and Johnny Powell of Marion; two daughters Marie Knight and husband David Carden of Forrest City, Snelson Kimble and husband Mike of Forrest City; thirteen grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren.

Visitation with the family will be Sunday, February 21, 2021 at Morgan Chapel from 2:00 - 4:00pm.  Burial will be private.

Morgan Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
